Travel is good for the writing process. It removes you from your familiar surroundings. It takes you out of your comfort zone. It is disruptive. As a copywriter, I am constantly looking to disrupt – in a good way. The white space around my content is equally as important as the words.
When I travel, I have fewer distractions. It is just me and my few personal items in a duffel bag or backpack. When it comes time to sit down and write, it is just me and my MacBook Air. It is liberating. I recommend all content creators get away on occasion. Even if it is just a day trip to a nearby destination. It will help clear the clutter from your mind and your written copy. Thanks for listening to CopyDeck.
